Baymor Court Flats, St Kilda

VCAT approved the 1920s Spanish Mission styled flats to be removed to make way for a new Becton developed residential tower.

The Esplanade Alliance fought hard to save the building.

The developer opted not to integrate the old apartments into the new complex.

Part of St Kilda’s interwar character has now been lost forever.
