Dallas Brooks Hall under threat

Supreme Court Annexe faces extinction

The heritage listed 1928 Old Supreme Court building (designed by John Smith Murdoch) on Little Bourke Street has been earmarked by the state government for demolition to build a another modern legal complex.

Leading barristers and the National Trust are fighting a State Government plan to demolish Melbourne’s Old High Court Building.
